Job summary

American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to work with EAM sales and operations, reviewing opportunities and guiding delivery from planning to closing. You will maintain client relationships, identify follow-on business, and ensure successful project execution.

The role emphasizes EAM knowledge, sales process exposure, and strong communication and writing skills. Expect up to 50%+ travel and engagement with key decision makers.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Industry experience in energy (oil & gas, chemical, power, utilities).
• EAM system knowledge (IBM Maximo, Hexagon EAM, Ultimo).
• Exposure to the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with existing customers to facilitate new business.
• Plan and schedule client meetings.
• Meet with clients to listen to their needs.
• Communicate client needs to project managers and supervisors.
• Identify new business opportunities with existing customers.
• Participate in marketing activities, conferences, and whitepapers.
• Contribute to proposals, including writing and effort estimation.
• Learn ABS Consulting products and services.
• Review reports to identify customer intelligence and market opportunities.
• Travel 50% or more as necessary.
