Job summary

The role emphasizes EAM knowledge, sales process exposure, and strong communication and writing skills. Expect up to 50%+ travel and engagement with key decision makers.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Industry experience in energy (oil & gas, chemical, power, utilities).
• EAM system knowledge (IBM Maximo, Hexagon EAM, Ultimo).
• Exposure to the sales process.

Job description

The solutions architect will work closely with EAM sales and operations teams to review upcoming EAM implementation opportunities, design response approach, support technical sales process, account management, and services delivery. This includes providing support to the project manager with initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling and closing projects. As part of the operations team, the solutions architect will maintain relationships with customers and key decision makers to help identify follow-on business opportunities and maintain customer intelligence.

What You Will Do:

• Develop relationships with existing customers to facilitate the development of new business
• Planning and scheduling client meetings
• Meeting with new and existing clients to listen to their needs
• Communicating client needs to project managers and supervisors
• Identify new business opportunities with existing customers for current and/or additional services
• Participate in marketing activities, conference presentations, technical whitepapers
• Participate in proposal development including writing proposals and estimating level of effort
• Learn, understand and be conversant in ABS Consulting products and services
• Review published reports and news articles about existing and potential new clients to identify customer intelligence
• Networking to meet new potential clients
• Must be willing and able to travel 50% or more of the time as necessary to meet business needs.

Salary:

$135K - $165K

Reporting Relationships:
