Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Discovery IT System Administrator to join a fast-paced legal-accounts team. The role supports electronic discovery applications, server infrastructure, and cloud environments to enable efficient legal data workflows.

Key responsibilities include ensuring availability of e-discovery tools, monitoring performance, security, backups, and collaboration with vendors and the legal department.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic discovery tools and related workflows.
• Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Strong collaboration with legal and IT teams to support discovery projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery apps and tools.
• Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Test and maintain operating systems and management tools.
• Monitor application performance and work with vendors to implement fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Provide training and SME advice on e-discovery tools.
