Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Discovery IT System Administrator to support legal accounts, ensuring availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools.

You will install, configure, monitor, and maintain operating systems, manage SQL Server and cloud services (Azure, AWS), and collaborate with vendors on migration projects while training end-users and building knowledge resources.

Qualifications

• Legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRM.
• Experience with e-discovery platforms, cloud hosting, and data migrations.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate to technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and tools.
• Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install/configure servers and software.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with vendors to implement fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Liaise with vendors and assist in architecture design discussions.
• Develop training and knowledge resources for end-users.
• Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, and cloud management.
• Operate Microsoft server 2019/2022 and SQL Server 2019/2022.
• Manage cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and relational databases.
