Job summary

Williams is seeking a Staff Project Manager to lead large, complex oil and gas projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and profitability. You will drive cross-functional teams, align with engineering best practices, and deliver results that impact performance across the organization.

The role requires 15+ years in the field, a Bachelor's in engineering/construction management, and PMP/PE/MS preferred. Travel up to 50% is expected, with hybrid work options for many office positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas engineering/project management.
• PMP, PE, and Microsoft Specialist Project Certification (MS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team to implement project plans with significant complexity and coordinates with partners.
• Sets up the core project team to achieve objectives.
• Coordinates key functions with technical resources under Project Life Cycle guidance.
• Develops and implements project reports, presentations, schedules and costing forecasts.
• Presents recommendations to support reliability targets and reduce risks.
• Prepares, reviews and approves requests for proposals and contractor selection.
• Understands economic impact to drive solutions and optimizes life-cycle profitability.
• Manages moderate-large projects with focus on deadlines and quality.
• Leads project teams and contractors to produce results.
