Job summary

Synergy is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer to own the platform, report to the Director of IT, and build the first dedicated development capability for the team in Orlando. You will clear the backlog, extend Dataverse with plugins, Power Apps, and custom APIs, and guide deployment discipline across the Microsoft stack.

You’ll drive BI reporting with Power BI, manage integrations, and prototype AI/Copilot capabilities while working with external partners and internal

Qualifications

• Five or more years building software professionally.
• Three or more years hands-on in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and the Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Proven experience shipping production solutions with Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience owning environments and solution management, not just building inside someone else’s.
• Ability to take a scoped project and run with it, translating non-technical requirements into working solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own development across Dynamics 365 CE, the Power Platform (Canvas/Model-driven apps), Dataverse schema and business logic, plugins, and APIs.
• Extend the platform with C#, JavaScript, and SQL where out-of-the-box stops.
• Design and maintain integrations between Dataverse and other systems the business depends on.
• Build Power BI reporting used by operating teams and leadership.
• Build SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions supporting document and workflow processes.
• Turn vague requests into workable solutions, document them, and train users.
• Set up and mature the engineering practice: source control, environments, testing, and controlled deployment.
• Prototype and productionize AI/agent capabilities (Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Azure AI).
• Collaborate with external partners and MSPs on larger builds.
