Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to drive modernization across the BC landscape from on-premises NAV heritage to BC SaaS architecture. You will design, develop, and upgrade NAV/BC solutions, contribute to solution architecture, and build integrations with REST, OData, and Azure services.

Qualifications

• Strong development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 BC.
• Hands-on AL development in production, ideally with BC SaaS architecture.
• Experience with upgrades or migrations of BC from NAV legacy to modern BC.
• Knowledge of REST, OData, enterprise integrations, Azure, cloud concepts.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing and code reviews.
• Effective communication and collaborative mindset for architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics NAV (C/AL) and Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL) solutions, supporting the modernization of legacy functionality into a modern SaaS‑ready architecture.
• Support the upgrade and modernization from Business Central 14 to Business Central 28.
• Contribute to solution architecture, integration design, and technical decision‑making.
• Build and maintain REST, API, and OData integrations with enterprise systems.
• Review code, share knowledge, and mentor other developers.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
