Job summary

Katmai is seeking a seasoned training specialist to support the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program. You will help design, plan, execute and assess live, virtual, constructive, and gaming exercises across unit levels from battalion to division.

The role emphasizes doctrinal development, MDMP, and after-action reviews, with on-site and remote coaching at training sites. You will coordinate scenarios, provide coaching, and deliver on-site feedback to commanders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MA/MS preferred.
• Senior Army leadership experience with training management background.
• Primary staff experience at Battalion level or higher.
• Experience within Army National Guard training support systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop CONOPS and Scheme of Maneuver products and OPORDs to support training.
• Provide SME on LVC-G training methods and simulations.
• Advise and train divisions and units during planning and execution, including AAR.
• Plan and conduct FTXs/CPXs/STAFFEXs/Fires/LOGEXs and MDMP workshops.
• Create doctrinal training materials and provide on-site feedback to commanders.
