Job summary

E-Space is seeking a senior DSP/embedded systems engineer to own the NTN PHY subsystem for space-based IoT. You will design, optimize, and verify 5G NR PHY functions, translating requirements into robust firmware and reference models, collaborating with ASIC, verification and software teams.

The role requires strong C/C++, Python or MATLAB, SystemC modeling, and pre-silicon verification experience. Occasional long hours may be needed during critical milestones.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in EE/CE or related field.
• PhD research may count toward experience.
• Equivalent demonstrated expertise welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate a 5G NR PHY subsystem for NTN.
• Define PHY/link-level simulations; analyze tradeoffs.
• Develop production DSP firmware with real-time processing; optimize performance.
• Own reference models and test vectors; ensure fixed-point accuracy.
• Contribute to SystemC TLM modeling and high-level synthesis.
• Lead pre-silicon verification and silicon bring-up activities.
• Review algorithms and code; mentor engineers across teams.
