Job summary

Upstate Caring Partners is seeking a Senior DSP to mentor staff, oversee shift operations, and ensure a safe, healthy living environment for residents in a 12-person setting. The role requires AMAP certification, a valid NYS driver's license, and the ability to travel as needed.

• This position requires responsible and reliable individuals with good judgement.
• This position is responsible for a significant amount of documentation related to the people we support and program operations.
• Travel and transport is required. Must have and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record obtained through LENS.

Job description

• Serve as a mentor for new employees and assist in on-site orientation and training.
• Participate in agency activities under the supervision of the Program Manager.
• Provides high quality supportive services to ensure that a safe, healthy and welcoming living environment is provided for residents.
• In the absence of the Residence Manager, is responsible for oversight of daily shift operations, coordination of the scheduling of staff, completion of all records and reports pertaining to the shift they are leading.
