Lyte is seeking a Senior PHY Algorithm Engineer to help develop state‑of‑the‑art DSP algorithms for sensing applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in algorithm development for signal processing or advanced communication systems.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++ for end-to-end DSP pipelines.
• Strong fixed‑point design expertise and ability to produce bit‑exact, cycle‑accurate models.
• Experience collaborating with front‑end, verification, and embedded DSP software teams.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop advanced signal processing algorithms for sensing applications.
• Define, document, and maintain algorithmic specifications and technical documentation.
• Perform fixed‑point analysis and modeling to support efficient HW/SW implementations.
• Develop and execute end‑to‑end algorithm pipeline simulations using MATLAB and Python.
• Evaluate algorithm performance at block and system levels within simulations.
• Optimize platform and HW architectures with emphasis on HW/SW partitioning.
• Collaborate with front‑end design, verification, architecture, SW, and system teams.
