Job summary

etherWhere Corporation is seeking a qualified engineer to develop signal processing algorithms in firmware for embedded processors in our chips. The role is hands-on, designing and implementing critical DSP routines. You will implement DSP algorithms on an embedded ARM processor, including digital filtering, timing and frequency tracking, and Kalman filtering.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in ECE with DSP/embedded emphasis.
• Experience in software/firmware and system architecture; proven track record of shipping products.
• Experience in developing & optimizing DSP applications in C and assembly for embedded processors.
• Proficient in Embedded C and/or Python; MATLAB knowledge a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in DSP firmware for signal processing routines.
• Committed to producing high quality, well‑designed software.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of signal processing algorithms in firmware.
