Softworld, a Kelly Company, seeks a highly motivated DSP software design engineer to lead a cross-functional team from requirements through integration and testing. Focus on waveform design and DSP for digital communications.

Responsibilities include high-level and detailed design, simulation and verification, documentation, and collaboration with hardware and software teams in an Agile environment. Requires experience with DSP, embedded C/C++, and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and relevant experience in real-time embedded software development.
• Graduate degree preferred with years of experience in DSP/embedded software.
• Experience with Agile Scrum and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement DSP algorithms.
• Simulate and analyze DSP algorithms.
• Develop embedded software for radio/communication systems with hardware integration.
• Lead Agile Scrum-based development within a cross-functional team.
• Perform analysis including requirements, use cases, design, testing, and reliability.
• Collaborate with test, manufacturing, product, and program management to deliver high-quality radio products.
• Translate customer requirements into total system solutions balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Consult with engineers to evaluate hardware/software interfaces and performance.
• Create software testing procedures and design documentation.
• Stay current with DSP advancements and apply new techniques.
• Contribute to strategic DSP direction and opportunities for innovation.
• Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.
