Job summary

Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks a Sr. Program Inspector to lead QA/QC oversight of vendor DSM programs, drive training for Program Inspectors, and ensure PSC compliance across residential and non-residential projects.

The role collaborates with Program Managers, field teams and external partners, oversees contractor performance, manages inspections, invoicing, and qualification renewals, and serves as the technical liaison for QC and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Certified Energy Auditor certification.
• Home Energy Rater certification.
• Dust Diagnostics and Combustion Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform inspections of program contractor/vendor work to ensure QA/QC and PSC compliance.
• Coordinate field activities and monitor contractor performance.
• Act as technical liaison with authorities, builders and vendors for QC and issue resolution.
• Develop training plans to enhance inspector skills and meet requirements.
• Manage DSM program inspections, invoicing, surveys and contractor feedback.
