Job summary

BL Harbert International is seeking a Project Manager to work with the Project Superintendent to staff, schedule, and execute self-perform drywall, metal framing, and ACT scopes on large commercial projects in Huntsville, AL. You will manage budgets, labour projections, and procurement to maintain schedules and quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction PM, experience with self-perform scopes, and strong cost-control skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent construction experience considered.
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in commercial, industrial, or federal construction.
Experience managing self-perform drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling scopes preferred.
Experience managing multi-million-dollar scopes of work.
Proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet-based project tracking.

Responsibilities

Manage financial and administrative responsibilities for self-perform drywall, metal framing, and ACT scopes.
Control budgets, cost tracking, labor projections, and production tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with the Superintendent regarding labor requirements and production goals.
Assist with material procurement, orders, and deliveries to maintain schedules.
Prepare estimates for drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling scopes of work.
