Job summary

Skydio, a leading US drone company, is seeking an experienced Buyer to drive end-to-end Purchase Order management, supplier relations, and ERP/MRP improvements to support on-time drone production and growth.

You will manage vendor data, analyze procurement metrics, and collaborate across the organization to optimize cost, availability, and delivery, while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Business).
• 8+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in aerospace/robotics/electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain principles.
• Experience sourcing electronic components (PCBs, semiconductors) and aerospace materials.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations or aerospace quality standards (AS9100).
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Purchase Orders to support orders and revenue targets.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure supply continuity (PO release, deliveries, receipts, discrepancies).
• Improve ERP accuracy and build a world-class MRP for in-house manufacturing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on supply chain strategies and reporting.
• Analyze procurement data and report on on-time delivery and vendor performance.
• Support planning metrics and reports (Safety Stock, Inventory Health, Order Policies).
• Participate in cross-functional teams for cost, quality, delivery, and inventory improvements.
