Job summary

Skydio, the leading US drone company, is hiring a sourcing professional to develop and execute commodity strategies for high-quality drone components, focusing on mechanical manufacturing technologies and processes used in UAVs. You will align supply chain with engineering during NPI and sustaining programs, and drive supplier engagement.

You will build global supplier networks, manage RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, negotiate favorable terms, and monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating supplier contracts and terms.
• Ability to analyze spend, consolidate suppliers and create leverage.
• Experience with tooling capacity management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity roadmaps for current and future programs.
• Lead supplier selection during NPI and sustaining projects.
• Own RFI, RFP, RFQ processes and award decisions.
• Drive cost reduction and negotiate best-in-class pricing.
• Collaborate with finance on pricing costs and forecasts.
