Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Driver Safety, DOT & HazMat Compliance to lead our transportation safety and regulatory programs. You will ensure private fleet and hazardous materials operations comply with federal rules while fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.

This role partners with Operations, HR, Legal, Risk, Technology, and HSE to reduce risk, drive performance, and maintain compliance through audits, training, dashboards, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in transportation safety, DOT/FMCSA compliance, hazardous materials compliance, fleet operations, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and hazardous materials transportation regulations.
• Experience leading audits, investigations, and corrective action programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage driver safety and FMCSA/DOT compliance programs.
• Oversee Driver Qualification Files (DQFs), onboarding, annual reviews, certifications, and recordkeeping.
• Monitor Hours of Service (HOS), ELDs, roadside inspections, and driver compliance.
• Lead hazardous materials shipping compliance, including packaging, labeling, documentation, training.
