Job summary

Arcadis, the world’s leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, seeks a Senior Project Manager - Drinking Water in Columbus, Ohio. You will lead complex drinking water programs from planning through construction, building strong client relationships and guiding multidisciplinary teams.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk, mentor engineers, and contribute to business development while advancing resilient water solutions for communities across the Midwest.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience delivering drinking water infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of drinking water projects, including treatment plants, transmission and distribution systems, pump stations, storage facilities, and related infrastructure.
• Manage all aspects of project execution, including scope, budget, schedule, quality, staffing, risk management, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal clients, developing strong relationships and identifying opportunities to support their long-term water infrastructure goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and nationally recognized technical experts to deliver innovative, sustainable, and resilient water solutions.
• Support business development and strategic growth initiatives through client engagement, proposal development, project pursuits, and industry involvement.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to engineers and project team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on technical excellence.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field
