Snelling, Llc seeks a Drilling Fluids Specialist to manage, test, and optimize drilling fluids across field operations. You will measure viscosity, density, and weight of muds at rig sites and direct additive mixes to respond to changing underground pressures. You will also oversee on-site supplies, ensure waste disposal safety, and log data for engineers.

The role requires minimum 5 years in drilling fluids, strong field experience, and strict adherence to environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in drilling fluids operations.
• Experience in testing and optimizing drilling fluids to maintain wellbore stability.

Responsabilités

• Manage, test, and optimize liquid chemical mixtures used in oil and gas drilling operations.
• Measure and analyze drilling fluid properties (viscosity, density, weight) at rig sites.
• Calculate and direct chemical additive mixes to respond to changing underground pressures or rock formations.
• Oversee on-site product supplies and coordinate material deliveries with service providers.
• Follow environmental and safety rules for waste disposal and hazard mitigation.
• Log data and write daily mud reports for company men and drilling engineers.
