Get Logistics, a leading national drayage broker for BCOs and freight forwarders, is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the position of Senior Drayage Operations Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients and carriers, ensuring the smooth movement of shipments throughout the supply chain.

The US Drayage Specialist will oversee daily operations, manage container movements, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage scheduling, dispatch, and tracking of drayage shipments from ports to warehouses, rail ramps, and destinations
• Monitor dispatch operations to optimize routes and resources
• Build and maintain relationships with drivers, carriers, and port officials
• Implement cost-saving strategies and improve operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws and safety regulations
• Resolve shipment issues promptly, including delays and damages
• Lead, train, and support dispatch team members
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
• Manage client accounts and serve as the main contact for shipments
• Negotiate costs and maximize profitability
• Maintain client satisfaction through solutions and support
• Collaborate with sales to identify and develop opportunities
• Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements

Ability to support remote work.
