Job summary

Seattle Public Utilities is seeking a Senior Drainage & Wastewater Planning Engineer to lead projects that protect communities, improve water quality, and build resilience in Seattle. You will guide capital improvements across planning, design, and construction phases, reporting to the DWW North Seattle Capital Portfolio Lead.

The role requires 5 years of civil engineering experience, a Washington PE, and a state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Five years’ professional civil engineering experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.
• Current Washington State driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering analysis to evaluate stormwater, wastewater, CSO projects.
• Serve as a technical SME to peers within the DWW Planning and Portfolio Management Division.
• Lead diverse teams, create project management plans, and coordinate action items.
