Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to manage and develop municipal drainage projects. The role focuses on BMP design, storm water permitting, and roadway drainage systems across transportation projects for public sector clients.

You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. Ideal candidates have a PE license, 6+ years of drainage design experience, and strong modeling skills in SWMM, HydroCAD, HY-8, and AutoCAD, with excellent communication and deadline

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Biosystems Engineering.
• Minimum of 6+ years of drainage design experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling apps (SWMM, HydroCAD, HY-8, AutoCAD).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Strong ability to read plans, specs, and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage drainage design projects for transportation infrastructure.
• Develop and manage transportation-focused drainage projects for public sector clients.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, BMP design, and storm water permitting.
• Design and lay out roadway drainage systems.
• Review construction plans, specs, and estimates.
