Jobot, a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to grow the Florida market. This hybrid role (2-3 days in-office) blends business development 60% with hands-on drainage and stormwater design for transportation projects across highways, roadways, interchanges, bridges, and multimodal facilities.

You will lead drainage design, perform hydraulic analyses, manage permitting, oversee scope, schedule and budget, provide technical mentorship, and support client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
• 10+ years of transportation drainage, stormwater, or water resources engineering experience.
• Experience delivering transportation projects for state and local transportation agencies.
• Strong expertise in drainage design, hydraulic analysis, stormwater management, and permitting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and complex engineering projects.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage and stormwater design for transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roadways, interchanges, bridges, and multimodal facilities.
• Perform hydraulic analyses, stormwater management design, pond siting evaluations, and bridge hydraulic studies.
• Manage permitting efforts and coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and risk management across multiple assignments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering staff.
• Support client development activities and represent the firm at industry events as needed.
