Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer/Manager to lead and expand transportation-focused drainage projects for public sector clients. The role emphasizes BMP design, storm water permitting, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling within a growing team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Biosystems Engineering.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of prior related drainage design experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling applications (e.g. SWMM, HydroCAD, HY-8, Microstation/Geopak/ORD, and/or AutoCAD).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be eligible to work in the specified location.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This position will play a pivotal role in managing and developing transportation-focused drainage projects for our public sector clients, including cities, counties, and transportation departments. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, utilizing their expertise in BMP design, storm water permitting, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and roadway drainage system layout and design. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
