Jobot is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to lead transportation drainage projects for public sector clients. You will manage BMP design, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and roadway drainage layouts, driving quality and compliance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Biosystems Engineering.
• 6+ years of drainage design experience.
• 2+ years in a similar role.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling apps such as SWMM, HydroCAD, HY-8, MicroStation/Geopak/ORD, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design of drainage projects for transportation infrastructure.
• Develop and manage transportation-focused drainage projects for public sector clients.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, BMP design, and stormwater permitting.
• Design and layout roadway drainage systems.
• Review plans, specs, and estimates.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff.
• Maintain relationships with clients.
• Ensure work adheres to company policies and standards.
