Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer/Manager in Minneapolis to lead the design of transportation drainage projects for public sector clients. You will oversee BMP design, storm water permitting, and hydraulic modeling while guiding junior engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Biosystems Engineering.
• 6+ years of drainage design experience.
• 2+ years in a similar role.
• PE license required.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage drainage design for transportation infrastructure.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to meet objectives.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, BMP design, and storm water permitting.
• Design and layout roadway drainage systems.
• Review plans, specs, and estimates.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Maintain client relationships and project progress.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
