Job summary

Kisinger Campo & Associates in Miami seeks a Senior Drainage Engineer to lead stormwater management and drainage design for transportation projects. You will apply hydrology, hydraulics, and floodplain analysis while guiding multidisciplinary teams.

The role involves design recommendations, regulatory compliance, client interaction, QA/QC leadership, and contributing to marketing and long-term vision of the drainage group. PE license and 15 years post-registration experience are required.

Qualifications

• PE license required; 15 years of post-registration experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Project management experience with small to mid-size projects.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Presence at the designated office or job site is necessary to fulfill the requirements of this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical adequacy of projects in drainage discipline.
• Document calculations, decisions, and recommendations in reports and memorandums.
• Oversee project development for drainage discipline.
• Coordinate with related disciplines to achieve a cohesive product.
• Review engineers’ calculations and plans.
• Perform QC reviews on the project.
• Maintain familiarity with DOT guidelines and AASHTO codes and applicable specs.
• Lead project discipline team and manage staffing.
• Represent the firm in meetings with clients and agencies; assist with marketing and proposals.
• Assist management and marketing personnel with client visits.
