Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) seeks a Mid-Level Hydraulics Engineer to develop drainage and stormwater designs for transportation projects in South Carolina.

The role emphasizes technical analysis and the ability to perform hydraulic tasks with guidance from senior staff. The candidate should have 4–7 years of experience, a SC PE license or ability to obtain it within 6 months, and a BS in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in hydraulics engineering
• Experience with SCDOT is required
• SC PE License or ability to obtain it within 6 months
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong hydrologic and hydraulic modeling knowledge
• Experience with SCDOT design standards and drainage criteria
• Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer and drainage modeling tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Experience mentoring junior staff is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare drainage studies and hydraulic calculations
• Conduct stormwater management analyses and floodplain evaluations
• Design culverts and drainage systems and support permitting documentation
• Coordinate with roadway, structures, environmental, and survey teams to integrate hydraulic considerations
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical discussions
