Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Donor Officer II to support philanthropic and patient experience goals. This role provides high-level coordination and navigation for patients and families referred by hospital leadership, while serving as a liaison to the Development Team to support donor engagement and stewardship.

The position requires deep experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years in donor relations, patient services, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level navigation and coordination for outpatient and inpatient visits.
• Collaborate with department and division leads to ensure seamless scheduling and service delivery.
• Support families with complex needs, including travel logistics and interhospital communications.
• Communicate with hospital leadership, senior staff, community leaders, and patient families.
• Deliver registration, financial clearance, and scheduling processes to ensure an exceptional patient and family experience.
• Identify and connect Grateful Families to the Development Team to advance philanthropic goals.
• Partner with Health Network Foundation, Concierge Scheduling, and Destination Excellence to improve workflows.
