Job summary

Oath, a strategic giving platform, is seeking a day-to-day advisor for high-dollar donors in New York. You will turn research into personalized giving plans and manage client money across presidential, Senate and downballot races, with ownership over your book.

Work closely with the Head of Personal Advising and Data teams to scale the program. Responsibilities include building client plans, turning race data into actionable recommendations, briefing clients, and reporting impact.

Qualifications

• For 3+ years, experience in political finance, donor advising, fundraising, or philanthropic advising.
• Strong knowledge of electoral politics from Senate to state legislatures.
• Data-literate: comfortable with spreadsheets, data, and ratings like FEC filings.
• Clear, discreet communication with high-net-worth donors.
• Highly organized: able to manage many clients and deadlines.
• Mission-driven with genuine interest in progressive politics and donor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and build giving plans around goals, budget and timing.
• Translate research into clear recommendations clients can act on.
• Brief clients with concise briefings, updates and impact reports.
• Track each client's contributions against the plan and flag gaps before deadlines.
• Grow the program by onboarding new clients and scaling for 2028.
• Partner cross-functionally with Growth and Partnerships on donor strategy and events.
