Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the C3I&N Directorate at Lackland AFB. This full-time role requires extensive DoD systems engineering experience and a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of systems engineering in DoD settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Understanding of software, OS, networks, storage, and system architecture.
• Experience across the SDLC lifecycle from initiation to deployment.
• Proficiency with process modeling and workflow diagrams.
• Experience with Digital Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin.
• Ability to communicate with management and staff clearly.
• US citizen with TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review program portfolios and design/test plans to meet specs.
• Conduct program reviews and evaluate proposed plans against performance.
• Prepare technical documents detailing system characteristics.
• Prepare management reports and present planning actions.
• Validate systems and develop evaluation criteria.
• Provide engineering support across acquisition, integration, sustainment and fielding.
• Support risk management per SEAM processes.
