Abacus Technology is seeking a Software Engineer to support full life cycle software solutions for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time position.

The role requires 12+ years in software engineering including 5+ years in a DoD environment, a related Bachelor's degree, and a TS/SCI clearance. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for collaboration with end users and various teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, requirements and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments.
• Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications and programming.
• Improve operations by analyzing systems and recommending changes.

Education
