Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer to provide Test and Evaluation support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include developing test concepts, test plans, executing tests, applying Design of Experiments, and producing technical reports to support software releases and IT/data center testing in a DoD environment. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in test engineering and support including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement all activities related to the testing of IT and data center functions.
• Experience developing test plans and test cases.
• Broad knowledge of the quality assurance process as it applies to testing and evaluation of software applications and mission systems.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
• Willing to provide hands-on testing support when necessary.
• Must be a US Citizen and hold a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Document test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and reporting.
• Utilize Design of Experiments to plan and conduct test programs.
• Prepare criteria, computations/analyses, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Apply engineering techniques to analyze broad, complex features of the work.
• Review and evaluate results to ensure adequacy of conclusions from test tasks.
• Devise innovative approaches and complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
