Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC in San Diego, CA is seeking a Programmer Engineer - Level III to design, develop, and deliver secure software capabilities for production environments using Agile frameworks. This role requires active TS/SCI eligibility with Tier 5.

You will work with Microservices, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices, ensuring secure integration with Cross-Domain Solutions in a highly regulated DoD-like setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of software development experience using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• Experience coding in Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++.
• Experience with modern architectures (Microservices, Event-Driven, or Serverless).
• Experience with Git-based version control workflows (GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development).
• Experience applying DevSecOps in CI/CD pipelines with security testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver software capabilities to production environments using Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Code in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++.
• Implement modern architectural patterns such as Microservices, Event-Driven, or Serverless.
• Use Git-based version control workflows such as GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development.
• Execute the end-to-end delivery pipeline from software design and development through automated testing to production deployment on Kubernetes, cloud, or virtualized environments.
• Apply DevSecOps principles, including configuring automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanners) within a CI/CD pipeline.
