Job summary

The Programmer Engineer - Level III at People,-Technology- in San Diego leads secure software development for DoD-grade environments using Agile methods. You will design, code, and integrate resilient architectures for PaaS environments, with emphasis on cross-domain security and SDLC automation.

You’ll work across microservices, event-driven patterns, and serverless designs, applying DevSecOps tooling and automated security checks in Kubernetes, cloud, or virtualization contexts.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI or TS/SCI eligible with a completed Tier 5 investigation at time of submission.
• Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated experience in software development using Agile frameworks to design, develop, and deliver software to production.
• Experience coding in at least one language (Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++).
• Implementing modern architectural patterns (Microservices, Event-Driven, Serverless).
• Utilizing Git-based workflows (GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development) and end-to-end delivery on Kubernetes/cloud.
• Minimum two (2) years applying DevSecOps principles with automated security testing (SAST/DAST/SCA) in regulated DoD environments.
• Experience designing integrated software for DDIL environments and Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver software capabilities to production using Agile frameworks.
• Code in Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++.
• Implement patterns such as Microservices, Event-Driven, or Serverless.
• Use Git-based workflows (GitFlow, Trunk-Based).
• Execute end-to-end delivery pipeline from design to production in Kubernetes/cloud environments.
• Apply DevSecOps with automated security tests as gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate software securely with Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS).
