Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly qualified Cybersecurity Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD missions and protect critical systems. The ISSO will advise on RMF, security controls, and information assurance, ensuring DoD policy alignment across architectures and networks.

Applicants must hold a TS/SCI with clearance eligibility, 10+ years in DoD cybersecurity, and 1+ year implementing RMF controls.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain polygraph
• 10+ years DoD cybersecurity experience
• 4+ years SAP/SCI environments experience in past 5 years
• 1+ year RMF security controls implementation experience
• Relevant certifications may substitute for a degree

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert in RMF, cybersecurity, cyber engineering, and information assurance
• Provide technical guidance and actionable recommendations to leadership
• Communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Identify cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance issues
• Support RMF control implementation and assessment throughout system lifecycle
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, and cybersecurity teams for policy compliance
• Support government/industry programs and travel to locations as required
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and mission success
