Job summary

SHR Consulting Group, LLC in Arlington, VA, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead DoD IT initiatives and system transitions within a large enterprise JSP environment. Manage 15–20 concurrent initiatives and annual transitions from Engineering to Operations.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain PROMIS/SharePoint docs, and brief leadership. A PMP and Secret clearance are required; 100% onsite at NCR government facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DoD or federal IT project management experience.
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Remedy, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
• Leads cross-functional teams across compute, storage, virtualization, apps, cyber, and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to brief Government leadership.
• Knowledge of DoD RMF, STIGs, and IAVM impacts on schedules.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholders in IT modernization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Sponsor Forms and secure Government concurrence.
• Develop project schedules within 30 days of approval.
• Provide weekly status updates and manage PROMIS/SharePoint data.
• Track tasks in Remedy/Helix; document effort and resources.
• Create documentation and RMF artifacts for initiatives.
• Lead 15–20 project transitions per year from JSP Eng to Platform Services.
• Coordinate platform tasks for backups, monitoring, and patching; feedback within 5 days.
• Update SOPs/CMDB within 15 days of transitions.
• Present briefs to leadership and provide PROMIS inputs within 48 hours.
• Apply PMI/PMBOK and ITIL principles.
