Job summary

Astrion seeks a Principal Program Manager to lead USAF Weather Systems programs at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role requires DoD program management expertise, DoDI 5000.02/AFI 63-101/20-101 knowledge, and coordination across stakeholders. US citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 20 years of relevant experience, 10 in DoD; or 30+ years related experience with 12 in DoD.
Comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition and program management per DoDI 5000.02/5000.75 and AF/Roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of DoD and Air Force acquisition practices per DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101.
Coordinate acquisition activities, assess schedules/cost baselines, and recommend viable solutions.
Prepare and review acquisition reports and briefings for senior management.
Support program management reviews and IMS/IMP events.
Provide PM inputs to RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, and related documentation.
