Astrion, located at Hanscom AFB, MA, seeks a Principal Program Manager to lead complex USAF Weather Systems programs. The role requires DoD program management expertise and adept coordination with end users and senior leadership.

Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance. Full-time position with a salary range of $150,000–$166,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with DoD experience.
• 20 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 in DoD.
• Alternatively, 30+ years of related experience with 12+ in DoD.
• Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Apply knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and AFI 63-101/20-101 in program management.
• Know roles within DoD and Air Force.
• Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to measure program performance.
• Assess schedules and costs and propose viable solutions.
• Prepare acquisition documentation and briefings for senior management.
• Develop plans for development, production, deployment of weapons systems.
• Support lifecycle reports and reviews (DAES, MAR, etc.).
• Coordinate program management reviews and IMS/IMPs.
• Prepare status schedules and acquisition task briefs for senior management.
• Link EVM cost performance to IMS CDRLs and RFP products.
