Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead Air Force Research Laboratory portfolios at Wright-Patterson AFB. You will oversee cost, schedule, and risk while developing acquisition documentation and mentoring junior managers.

The role requires a Master’s degree, PMP/DAWIA Level III, and DoD SAP experience, with U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD clearances. Onsite in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and PMP/DAWIA Level III certifications preferred.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum 10 years of DoD cost and schedule management experience.
• Five years of SAP experience and ability to obtain required clearance within 24 months.
• Experience with acquisition documentation, risk management, and MBSE tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of technical projects within the APB per DoD 5000 and PMBOK; cap at five programs.
• Own IMS in Microsoft Project, integrated with WBS; lead monthly status updates.
• Assess health metrics and brief PMRs and milestone decisions.
• Direct risk-management per DoD RIO Guide; mitigate within five days.
• Develop acquisition documents (APBs, RFP inputs, source-selection criteria); limit rework to two.
• Maintain SysML models in MBSE environment; ensure currency within five days of changes.
• Provide senior communications and mentor Journeyman program managers.
