Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or 16 years of equivalent experience) with 12+ years in network modernization or federal IT policy.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (prefer Top Secret).
• Experience translating network architectures into executive artifacts and CIO guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support to a DoD CIO Action Officer as a hybrid data systems engineer and policy analyst.
• Lead design/deployment of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across enterprise and tactical edge.
• Develop architectural blueprints ensuring resilience and seamless integration between enterprise and deployed nodes.
• Implement modern security architectures (Zero Trust) across DoDIN; collaborate with cybersecurity teams.
• Develop and coordinate implementation plans to modernize DISN, MILDEP, and edge cloud capabilities.
• Engineer and enhance Power BI dashboards to visualize infrastructure performance and modernization progress.
• Prepare white papers, briefs, and CATMS taskers aligned with CIO priorities.
• Track deliverables using Advana, Jira, and Confluence; support portfolio transparency.
