Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Implementation Engineer to lead site surveys and develop structured network designs supporting voice, data, security, and AV systems. You will produce drawings, specifications, reports and other technical documents, coordinating with IT, facilities, clients, architects, engineers, vendors and subcontractors to meet business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities include designing for on‑prem and cloud deployments, and producing all supporting implementation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting DoD enterprise networks.
• 3+ years with commercial hardware, networks and cloud environments.
• 2+ years of network discovery and documenting system requirements.
• Experience with security, routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, L3VPNs).
• Experience developing and executing test and implementation plans.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and multitask.
• Ability to travel to CONUS/OCONUS up to 40%.
• Secret clearance and DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete site surveys and create structured network designs for customers.
• Design engineered drawings, specifications, reports and other technical docs.
• Collaborate with IT, facilities, project teams, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendors to develop designs and plans.
• Implement final network solutions for on-prem and cloud environments.
• Produce documentation required for implementation in the global network.
