Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Implementation Engineer to design and document network solutions for DoD enterprise networks. You will produce drawings, specifications, and reports, coordinating with IT, facilities, architects, engineers, and vendors to deliver scalable, secure network designs.

You will help implement on-prem and cloud-based network solutions, develop comprehensive implementation plans, and produce all supporting artifacts for a global deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of implementation and engineering support for DoD enterprise networks.
• 4+ years of experience with security, routing, and switching protocols, including BGP.
• Experience with multi-site private mesh over shared and public WAN networks.
• Experience troubleshooting issues from layer 1 to layer 4.
• Experience collapsing security segmentation from VRF separation to zone inspection.
• Experience with developing and executing test and implementation plans based on requirements
• Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 40% of the time
• Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design engineered drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate structured cabling design with other design disciplines and vendors.
• Implement final network solutions for on-prem and cloud environments; manage device production and network architecture design.
• Develop all supporting documentation required for implementation in a global network.
