Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Implementation Engineer to design and implement secure networks for DoD environments. You will conduct site surveys, prepare engineered drawings and reports, and coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and other teams to finalize designs.

The role spans on-prem and cloud deployments with emphasis on documentation and risk-aware planning. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of DoD network experience, strong knowledge of routing and switching, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DoD network implementation experience.
• 3+ years in commercial hardware, networks, and cloud environments.
• 2+ years in network discovery and documenting requirements.
• Experience with BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, or L3VPNs.
• Experience developing and executing test and implementation plans.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% CONUS/OCONUS.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete site surveys and create structured network designs.
• Design engineered drawings, specifications, reports, and other documents.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors for plans.
• Implement final network solutions for on-prem and cloud environments.
• Produce supporting documentation for implementation.
