Job summary

Booz Allen Hamiltonis seeking an Implementation Engineer to design and implement network solutions across voice, data, security and AV, with travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations. You will develop engineering drawings, specifications and reports, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical requirements.

The role requires DoD network implementation experience, security and routing/switching expertise, and a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years implementing DoD enterprise networks.
• 3+ years with commercial hardware, networks and cloud environments.
• 2+ years in network discovery, analyzing and documenting system requirements.
• Experience with security, routing, switching protocols (BGP/IS-IS/OSPF/MPLS/LDP/RSVP/VPLS/STP/L3VPNs).
• Experience developing and executing test and implementation plans based on requirements.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel, be detail-oriented, multitask and prioritize.
• Willingness to travel to CONUS and OCONUS up to 40%.
• Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and design structured network solutions for voice, data, security, and AV systems.
• Produce engineered drawings, specs, reports and other technical docs for implementation.
• Coordinate with IT, facilities, clients, architects, engineers and vendors to design and document network architectures.
