Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to support the SITEC program at MacDill Air Force Base. The role focuses on translating enterprise designs into secure, DoD-compliant network infrastructure and leading hands-on deployment on distributed NetOps environments.

You will collaborate with enterprise architects and cybersecurity teams to implement zero-trust concepts, endpoint compliance, and micro-segmentation using CSW and Cisco ACI, ensuring RMF/STIG adherence and 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• DoW 8140 compliance under Code 441 at least intermediate level.
• IAT II certification per DoD 8570 and CCNA.
• DoW TS/SCI clearance.
• Extensive experience leading large DoW/DoD network deployments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise network architects to translate concepts into engineering tasks and baselines.
• Drive deployment of network access control, endpoint compliance, and secure onboarding (C2C).
• Lead zero-trust workload protection and micro-segmentation policies across the enterprise (CSW focus).
• Ensure solutions adhere to architectural designs, DoD STIGs, and RMF requirements.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and cloud teams for multi-cloud integration.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and SOPs.
• Evaluate new network technologies, firmware updates, and patches before deployment.
