Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support LAN, WLAN, and WAN operations at Tripler Army Medical Center, HI. This role focuses on security, policy compliance, and enterprise network administration in a DoD context.

The candidate will work with DoD/DHA guidelines, configure firewalls and VPNs, and communicate status to customers while documenting changes and participating in multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Active US Government secret clearance required.
• US Citizenship required for the contract.
• IAM Level III (DoD 8570.01‑M) certification required.
• CCNP and CISSP certifications required.
• Experience with DoD Health Care Information Systems.
• Proficiency in networking protocols and IEEE 802 standards.

Responsibilities

• Enhance LAN/WLAN/WAN security and ensure compliance with DoD/DHA policies.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs, and IDS.
• Document changes and coordinate with NetMOD Network Standards Team.
• Evaluate vendor products to meet DoD and regional requirements.
• Lead or participate in projects; travel to supported sites.
