Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. seeks a Senior Network Engineer in Bethesda, MD to design, secure, and maintain enterprise networks within DoD environments. This 100% on-site role requires deep Cisco routing/switching expertise and a TS clearance.

You will enforce DISA STIGs, manage RMF A&A, and mentor engineers while coordinating with DISA and prime contractors to resolve critical incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of progressive network engineering experience in DoD/intelligence/defense contractor environments.
• Current, unexpired DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification (CISSP, CASP+, GCIH, CISA, CCNP Security, CCSP or GCED).
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and maintain high-availability LAN/WAN/CAN across RDT&E, NIPR & SIPR.
• Lead routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VRFs, MPLS, VXLAN, IPsec/DMVPN overlays.
• Implement DISA STIGs/SRGs and RMF A&A processes.
• Harden firewalls and NAC (Cisco ISE / 802.1X) and monitor security posture.
• Interface with DISA, leadership, and prime contractors to resolve incidents.
