Job summary

Systems Plus, Inc. is a government contractor focused on network engineering and DoD support. The role involves handling complex LAN/WAN/WLAN requirements, global coordination, and security measures within DHA and CONUS regions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong DoD network background, relevant certifications, and a commitment to ongoing growth in high-tempo environments. This is a full-time, hybrid position with locations in Charleston, SC; San Antonio, TX; or the National Capital Region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years related DoD/network experience.
IAM Level III certification per DoD 8570.01-M.
CCNP and CISSP certifications required.

Responsibilities

Supports the medical mission of the DoD and addresses complex technical infrastructure requirements across DHA networked facilities.
Identifies and resolves complex LAN/WLAN/WAN network problems and researches network-level issues using network management tools.
Provides high-level installation, configuration, documentation, management, and troubleshooting of LAN/WLAN/WAN communication equipment.
Serves as the premier Network Specialist for the contract and subject matter expert for subordinate network roles.
Acts as CONUS and global point of contact for network issues, configuration management, communications interconnection, addressing, multi-protocol routing, and network management.
Advises and consults with Government staff, agencies, and contractor representatives involved with LAN/WLAN/WAN design, implementation, deployment, and management.
